Over many years, the team at Mint Media Capital have developed powerful contacts within the film and television industry and related sources of funding.
To demonstrate our commitment to the independent film industry, from time to time, we are prepared to seek financial support for projects in which we have direct interest.
Whilst we do not restrict genre nor location, at present we do limit proposed budgets to be within 20 million dollars.
Mint Media Capital are prepared to contribute through our private sources up to 30% of that budget, the balance being obtained through other funding channels.
All projects must be fully prepared and ready for production.
A full business plan must be included with your proposal; a guide to the elements required within your plan are given here.
Include a synopsis of the story within the plan and the full script as a PDF attachment. Full confidentiality is expected and given.
The project website / Facebook page if applicable.
Do you need or have you secured the relevent intellectual property rights? Please include a copy of that contract or agreement with expiry date if applicable.
Complete curricula of all principals with showreels and IMDB links where applicable.
A complete cast list, cast personnel anticipated or signed and / or the casting agency preferred.
Target audience - Are you aiming at a certain age group, gender, marital status, etc.,
(e.g. teenagers, females, single people). A combination of factors,
e.g. men aged 20–30 is a common target audience.
Naturally other groups, although not the main focus, may also be interested.
Please note: the biggest mistake it's possible to make in targeting is trying to reach everybody and ending up appealing to no-one.
Include an analysis of any recent Films of a similar genre with their budgets and ROI.
Give a comprehensive breakdown of your budget and a schedule of when the stage payments must be made.
